Dating from 1990, this later model MkIV escort XR3i Cabriolet looks to have been recently partially restored by the last owner with a note on file (at 28,000 miles, undated) suggesting the car was re-painted in Diamond White (it was originally white) with an RS Turbo body kit and badging being fitted at the same time including bonnet with vents, wheels and bumpers.

Under the bonnet, we find the stock Bosch fuel-injected 1.6 litre four-cylinder engine driving the front wheels via five-speed manual transmission.  The note refers to the engine having been treated to new leads, filters and a service plus fitment of new brakes.  There is also mention of any welding required having been done as well as new sound deadening to the floor pans.
